This tour will provide you an overview of the well-known city of Marrakesh, including its historic medina, lovely palm grove, and breathtaking surroundings. Discover the breathtaking scenery of the “Agafay” stone desert, which is only 30 kilometers southwest of Marrakech between East Lake Lalla Takerkoust and the High Atlas highlands. You will discover the unspoiled beauty of a desert and its surrounding wastelands during our tour to Agafay, as well as the High Atlas mountains with their villages and valleys.

 

 

Itinerary :

DAY 1

MARRAKECH
Welcome and assistance on arrival by our local representative. Transfer to your hotel for installation and night. Free dinner. Accommodation in Marrakech.

DAY 2

MARRAKECH

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided day for sightseeing and walking tour of Marrakech (half day)
Meet your guide at your hotel to reach the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in the city (by cab or on foot). Built in the 12th century, this building and its 69 m high minaret embody Marrakech. There, you will learn more about Islam and its 5 pillars as well as the customs of its faithful.
The 3-hour guided tour continues to the Bahia Palace by cab; this 19th century monument reveals all the wealth of Moroccan royalty of the time. This 160-room palace was built in 15 years and is in keeping with the traditions of typical Moroccan architecture.
A few steps away, cross the old Jewish quarter to reach the Saadian tombs dating from the 17th century. The site, discovered in 1917 and containing beautifully decorated rooms and ceilings, has become a popular site for tourists.
Then walk to the oldest part of the Medina, where your guide will lead you through the labyrinth of streets, spice stalls, workshops and art galleries.
Your guided tour will end at Jamâa El Fna Square, the most famous square in all of Africa. Storytellers, snake charmers, musicians, orange juice vendors and tattoo artists will capture your attention.
Price includes guided tour with local guide and hotel pick up.

DAY 3

MARRAKECH - AGAFAY

Breakfast and departure from your hotel at 9:30 am for a day of total change of scenery. Crossing of a region with orchards and olive trees then arrival in the rocky desert of Agafay with sublime white dunes. Passage in small Berber villages whose families are the guardians of ancestral traditions. Arrival at the bivouac, installation, discovery of its picturesque panorama and its market garden: organic vegetable garden in Permaculture, vineyards, olive trees and eucalyptus whose flowers fill the place with beauty. In addition to the magnificence and the comfort of the place, Le bivouac is a committed project whose values will speak to you. This land was arid and sterile. Free lunch. Traditional Moroccan dinner served under the large open tent and peaceful night at the Eco lodge.

 

DAY 4

AGAFAY - MARRAKECH - END OF PACKAGE
Breakfast composed of fresh fruits and traditional pastries served at the Eco lodge then transfer to the airport in Marrakech. End of our services
