Itinerary :
DAY 1
Our Sahara Desert tour begins early in the morning as we leave towards Ait Benhaddou passing by the sightseeing high Atlas Mountains, through Tizi N’tichka road. We will pause to observe Kasbah Ait Ben-Haddou, have a look on the most captivating natural sites and have lunch at a local traditional Moroccan restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will drive to Ouarzazate and have a long pause in film studio (where famous movies were filmed such as; Gladiator, the Mummy) to capture some wonderful photos. Then, we will continue towards the city centre to see the attractive panoramic view of the Kasbah. The next stop would be in Kalaa Ma’gouna, the valley of roses, we will have some time to explore the romantic city and start driving again towards Boumalne Dades to spend the night in the most lovely hotel at the edge of Dades River.
DAY 2
On the second day, we will have discovering tour of Dades Valley’s panoramic view. Next, continue to Todra gorges via Imider and Tineghir town. We will stop often to take some pictures to capture the extreme beauty of the captivating sights. Later on, when we reach Todra Gorges, you will get some highlights of the marvelous Canyons while hiking on foot. In the afternoon we will continue to Tinejdad town, take a lunch break there and then continue our way to Erfoud where we will be exploring the famous local fossil craft factory.
Later on, we will continue to Merzouga the Golden Gates of the Moroccan Sahara, where we would ride our camels to see the magnificent sunset in Erg Chebbi Dunes, to have the most wonderful and unforgettable experience. The second night of our Marrakech to Fes Desert Tours will be spent in an amazing Berber Sahara camp in the middle of nowhere with some exotic Gnawa music.
DAY 3
An early wake up where you enjoy the fabulous sunrise of Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert in a tremendous camel trek. Then, we will take breakfast and drive our adventurous cars to the hotel to get ready for the next fascinating destination.
We will first stop in Errachidia, Erfoud, Aoufous town, and the valley of Ziz where to appreciate the panoramic view and know more about the rich Berber culture. Then we will continue to Midelt passing by Tizi N’talghamt to have a lunch break there and taste the most incredible flavored Tajine.
Finally, we will drive to Fes city via the Cedar forests in Azrou and through the high Middle Atlas Mountains and have a short stop there to watch and feed the little (monkies) and take some pictures. The final stop for the day would be your luxurious Hotel or traditional Riad in Fes the Old city.
DAY 4
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up to start exploring the 12th-century ancient city.
First, you will visit the Royal Palace and its spectacular Gates. We would introduce you to the oldest Moroccan Jewish Quarter, The Mellah, and the remarkable gardens of Jnane Sbil, to have some clean air, wander through the beautiful trees and flowers, and Moroccan-style fountains.
Next, we will head to the old Medina, to walk through its narrow streets all lined with captivating traditional shops selling the most beautiful handicrafts. We will take you to the ancient Islamic schools as Madrasa Bou Inania, The Shrine of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, and the Chouara Tannery. We will also get to discover El Batha Museum, the southern tower (Borj Sud), (Borj Nord) and The Merinid tombs. A historical day in the cultural heart of Morocco. We will drop you off at your Riad (Moroccan Hotel) to spend the night.
DAY 5
On the final day of our Marrakech Desert tour, we will start driving towards Marrakech passing by Meknes, an old Ismailian city with an authentic Medina. Then Rabat, the Moroccan capital.
At the end of our memorable exploring journey, your driver will drop you off at your Hotel in Marrakech.
