Program
Imlil is about 64km From Marrakech. Marrakech exclusive travel will organize your day trip there, including travel on mules (if needed), guides, and photo opportunities. The trip should be finished at around 5 o’clock. Imlil is a very beautiful part of the High Atlas. It is also the starting point for many of the treks available in the area. Things To See, Enjoy, And Live In Imlil
Around 09:00 am, we pick you up from you hotel or riad in Marrakech. We set off towards Tahanaoute. It is a town at the feet of the High Atlas Mountains, it 35 km far from Marrakech. Just after Tahanaoute lie the High Atlas Mountains with their lovely peaks and vegetation. Our 4×4 arrives to Asni. While there you will get to visit a Berber family and learn about their habits, culture and way of life. After the visit, we go back on the road to enjoy the magic of more Berber villages scattered through out the mountains. Some villages are 200 years old. We stop to take pictures of the Toubkal’s peak. The Toubkal peak is the second highest peak in Africa, it is 4150 m high, and its peaks can be seen from Marrakech and Imlil.
After the picture pause, we will continue our journey to enjoy more landscapes like the vast areas of vegetation, the almond groves, quince groves, and the apple groves. You will also get to observe some wild life, and birds like waders. We will stop again to take pictures in the Kasbah of Tamadout.
At the end of the trip we will drive you back to your hotel in Marrakech
